In this photoshoot, I was on a weekend trip with my family this past weekend and we went to Holland, Michigan, where every year when tulip season comes around, they host a festival all around the flower and its different breeds and variations. It made for some really cool looking landscape photos. I used the "Accented Edges" painting filter in Photoshop and I think the soft look of the flowers came out well with the filter. Overall I say that the photoshoot and editing was a success!
A Bright Journey
Hazy Horizon
For this photoshoot, we had gone to Lake Michigan on our weekend trip as Holland is about 30 minutes from the shore. So on the beech, even though it was cloudy, I decided to take some landscape photos as the depth of the horizon on the water barely crept in contrast with the sky. I think the grey and blue tones kind of make for an almost un-worldly view and I think it pared well with the "Paint Daubs" filter. Overall, I say this photoshoot was a success.
The Grainy Layers
Gravity's Toll
This photoshoot was done at the Sand Dunes on our Weekend Trip over in between Muskegon/Holland, and the pictures came out beautifully. This particular Dune was very high and I was able to see over the trees. With the "Palette Knife" filter on this, the picture came out looking very much like a painting, and I would say that the edit and the whole photoshoot was very much a success in my opinion! I also really liked how the horizon photo turned out, pretty wild looking.
A Distant Breath
Crawling Life
In this photoshoot, it was in a forrest near the Sand Dune Location, again, over our weekend trip. This photoshoot of the forrest turned out somewhat okay in my opinion, the lighting was very bright in these shots however I made do. Using the "Palette Knife" filter once again, I think the edit came out looking pretty good, and I think the photoshoot for the forrest came out pretty well as a whole.
Looking Out
Shedding Trees
In this photoshoot, I went to Kensington Park and captured some pictures of the ground and vast forrest there. I also got some cool looking water photos as well. After using the "Dry Brush" filter on this photo it came out looking very close to a painting and I think it looks quite good with it on actually. Overall when looking at the Edit outcomes and the photoshoot as a whole I say it was a success! The lighting and weather that day was exceptional for taking pictures of the forrest in my opinion.
