For the first Symmetry photo I ever did, this white flower photo turned out really cool! i think it beings me a very surreal, "trippy" vibe. I think the message emanating most from this photo is a sort of euphoric, calm feeling. I say the picture and edit were both a success! I also really like the way the greenish white hues of the flowers contrast with the pink white background, as well as the tree fringes in the background near the bottom.
For this photo, It was also of a flower, however these photos were of a yellow bell flower off of a tree, which I then saturated and hued with a filter to create the blue flowers and deep background. A lot of value comes into play, and I like the way the symmetry effected this photo. I get a curious, interested feeling while looking at this, trying to piece the photo together like a puzzle. Overall, I say that this picture and editing process were both a success!
In this photo, I took this picture of a rock gently resting in a small creek behind a rock nook. The lighting in this nook was breathtaking, and it made the details of the rock, and focus of the shutter really piece together the frame. I tuned up the saturation, and lightness to make the details pop even more, as well as create the symmetry effect which turned out really cool looking, almost like a gateway or hole or portal. Overall I say this one was a success!
This photo to me was exceptional to begin with, but when combined with the editing process became an insanely cool almost Emblem type picture. The original flower was purple with red seeds adorning the sides in little pods. When I used the black and white photo filter I tuned up the Blue and Cyan, but toned down Green and Yellow, making the background fauna become much darker and putting the lightness and focus on the subject, the flowers. The Symmetry effect created a really cool "wreath" type circlet. I think this photo turned out really awesome!
This picture hast to be my favorite right up next to the previous black and white photo of the flower. This plant is known as a Trillium, and is my Grandmother's favorite flower of the wild forrest floor. I took an excellent photo of this flower on the sprouting Trillium, marking one of the first flowers of Spring. The low angle really gave the sunlight an opportunity to pear through the petals of the flower, and which the toning of saturation and curves, along with the sort of Center Focused Symmetry effect, I think this photo turned out absolutely astounding. Overall, a major success and a good one to end the symmetry photo line up.
