This was my 2nd or 3rd photo of the Bee I saw in a garden, and I used the Color Halftone as a filter. I kept the pixel count and angles low so it made more of a softer blur effect. I think it turned out well however the photo did have a low resolution purely based on the lighting that day just being intense. Here in this photo, is a picture of a sort of Fungus plant also found near a garden on a forrest floor. I am not sure hat exactly the plant is but it made for an almost surreal photo shoot and I ended up using the Mezzotint filter on this picture, which gave it an interesting hazy-ness to it. Overall I say it was a very successful photo! Here in this photo was part of a photo shoot with a random flower, possibly part of the daisy family but not a weed. I toned the curves down and used Pointillized. It made for a more dulled down version of the photo which I like but was not one of my favorites. This image of the Heart Shaped "Land Lilly" is my favorite. Although I am not sure what plant it really is, it caught my attention quite sharply as it grew on a moss covered rock. This conjunction of fauna really made for an excellent composition. I feel at peace with this photo and it reminds me of how much I love the forrest and exploring unseen things. You can find beauty anywhere, and I found it here. Also from the Icicle shoot, I got this picture and used the Color Halftone and darkened the green colors down as well as saturation giving a more grayed out, softer photo, and looks pretty cool after its all said and done. I think if anything I would change about it would be brighter lighting as the shadows have the background a sort of "muddy-ness" to it |
This was my 4th photo of the Bee photoshoot that I did, and on this picture the angle of the photo was slightly better and gave sharper detail to the flower shadows and values especially on the Bee's Fur. I used the Crystalize filter on this photo and it turned out looking really cool! It reminds me of a sort of old video game, low pixel count image. It gave the image more sharpness. I say it was a successful photo. Also from the same photo shoot was this picture which is farther from the subject, and at a lower angle. I think this photo turned out amazing, giving the depth with the reflecting ground below the subject. I used the Fragment filter and toned the curves down a bit darker. This created an almost Eerie, more unknowing feeling to it and really drew attention the strange nature of this plant. This was the last photo of the flower shoot and I think it turned out amazing. I did not use a filter on this but rather toned the curves up and saturation up just ever so slightly. I think this was a great success. This is a photo from a shoot of a small "Land Lilly" I found atop a moss covered rock. Really cool photo and I love the under the leaf angle. I used hue saturation and color corrections but kept the sharpness on areas of focus. I think it turned out really well. This was a picture from a photo shoot of some ice on the side of a small rock cliff. It was so unusual to see such a rock cliff and for it to have ice on a warm day (60*F). Nonetheless the photo turned out amazing and I love the background to the right of the subject, giving it major depth and the focus on the icicle showed the amazing amount of detail, little bits of debris and plant life. Overall, after color adjusting and tuning the saturation it turned out amazing! |
